- UWP Software Information: BEAS processes information about your Execution (EXE) or Universal Windows Platform (UWP) software, specifically the file path and software name. When you select a specific EXE/UWP software from the list provided by BEAS, we store this information to trigger authentication when the particular file is accessed. This information is solely used for enhancing security and is not used for any other purposes.
We use your information to provide and maintain our services. This includes using your information for purposes such as:
- Authenticating your identity: When you access protected software and encrypted files, we use your biometric data to verify your identity.
- Customizing your lockout settings: We allow you to personalize your lockout settings according to your preferences.
- Securing your data: We use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to encrypt and decrypt files, enhancing the security of your data.
We work hard to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm and Windows Data Protection API to encrypt and protect sensitive data.
